Good quality forage is the foundation of all equine diets. The horse evolved to graze on forage for up to 17 hours a day and its digestive system is specifically designed to handle this. Maintaining a healthy gut is paramount to a horse’s general health and well-being. A lack of fibre in a horse’s diet can lead to both physical and behavioural problems. Chaffs are short chopped hay and straw products, which can play an important role in increasing the fibre content of all diets. Lightly molassed and dust-free, they can be fed on their own or mixed into the hard feed to bulk out the ration.

Soft, free flowing, premium natural quality grass. Dried at high temperatures to enhance digestibility and palatability. Higher in feed value than hay or alfalfa, Ultra Grass is ideal for horses in light through to heavy work, breeding stock or those requiring extra condition.
   
 
Alfalfa is a highly nutritious feed stuff for horses and ponies. It is a member of the legume family along with beans, peas, soya and clover. It contains good levels of protein and minerals such as calcium, lysine and beta-carotene. Alfalfa is a useful way of adding extra energy resources, without using cereals which are high in starch.

Highly palatable quality blend of alfalfa and dust extracted oat-straw. Combines the benefits of alfalfa with other fibre sources, thus reducing the level of soluble carbohydrates including sugar. This is an ideal feed for leisure horses in light to medium work, good doers, veterans and horses at rest or convalescing.
