Coloured Delight! |
|
Helen Holding contacted us via our website with the story of her mare and foal. Helen bought her mare, Myrtal (Dutch Warmblood) four years ago in February and all seemed well. She had her vetted and she passed. In the late summer, however, she developed serious head shaking and her vet advised she either refrained from riding her in the summer months or that she breed from her. Helen decided on the latter. She says, "I have always liked coloured horses and visited a local stud farm, who have impressed me with their horses and the service they offered. Myrtal's foal, Louis, was born in April 2005. I have continued to use Badminton Horse Feeds since being recommended them by my local supplier, Fleetfarm, who offered me the opportunity to sample different varieties to make sure the horse liked it. "I have tried several makes of feeds before, but found that Badminton suits both mare and foal, and what's more there is no wastage". Helen feeds Badminton Stud & Yearling Mix and Badminton Herbal Chaff, along with bran and sugar beet in the winter months.
