Badminton Bagged Fibres |
|
Horse owners are well aware of the benefits of feeding fibre to their horse, but sometimes grass and hay can be inconsistent in quality, so bagged forage makes an excellent alternative. All our bagged forages are grown in the UK to the highest quality specification to satisfy the fussiest of eaters. A varied mix of dried grass, alfalfas, chaffs and Easy Rider, an exciting fibre and feed combination, form this range.
Badminton Ultra Grass, a pure dried grass, is chopped on harvesting and dried at a high temperature to lock in the feed value. Any dust is extracted at this stage and the product is then lightly coated with oil. It has a higher feed value that hay or fresh grass, so you can use it to replace cereals for the working horse. It is also ideal for convalescing horses and ponies or those in poor condition because, as it tastes so nice, horses cant resist it. Badminton Alfalfa and Badminton Alfalfa Light have added oil. They are grown, harvested, high temperature dried and processed in East Anglia. Badminton Alfalfa contains a higher percentage of the valuable leaf than most dried alfalfas on the market. The leaf contains essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Badminton Herbal Chaff is a superior product with added mint, golden rod, garlic and rosemary. Smells good; tastes great! Badminton Supreme Chaff is a basic, no frills, dust-free chaff and offers the horse owner terrific value. Badminton Easy Rider is a combination of pure dried British-grown grass and oatstraw with small pellets, containing a vitamin and mineral pack. It is low in starch; contains no added sugar, no alfalfa and no barley, which makes it an excellent choice for laminitics, overweight horses and those horses with feed intolerances to barley. Completing this range of fibres are Badminton Fibre Plus Nuggets, an excellent hay replacer. These low energy nuggets contain an appetising digestive aid to help maintain a healthy digestive tract. |
